Supporting choice, convenience and independence for people of all ages with a Spinal Cord Injury
The Paraplegic & Quadriplegic Association of NSW, also known as ParaQuad NSW, is a not-for-profit, member-based organisation with over 55 years experience in supporting people of all ages with spinal or related health conditions.
The services offered by ParaQuad NSW help people with spinal cord injuries (SCI) or other complex physical disabilities achieve independence and have the same opportunities to participate in the community as everyone else.
ParaQuad NSW is a trusted leader in the provision of clinical services, education and support information for the SCI and wider community. We pride ourselves on having developed our supports around changing community needs, culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) groups and person-centredness. Together with BrightSky Australia, a social enterprise division of ParaQuad NSW, we provide services such as:
- Specialist Clinical Nursing
- Occupational Therapy
- Social Work & Peer Support
- Personal Care
- Supported Accommodation
- Specialist Healthcare Products
We are a foundation member of the Australian Spinal Injury Alliance (ASIA) and a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) registered service provider, who can help support transitioning to the NDIS.
